Dr Wiseman Magasela
Founder and Executive Director of Clermont Analytics. Former Deputy Director General: Research and Policy Development in the Department of Social Development and former Special Adviser in the Ministry in the Presidency Responsible for Women and at the Ministry of Social Development. Member of the Council of the University of South Africa. Dr Magasela has held the position of Research Manager - Centre for the Analysis of South African Social Policy, University of Oxford, England; Chief Researcher - National Research Foundation; Sociology lecturer - University of Natal (Durban) and the University of Fort Hare in South Africa. Dr Magasela holds a Master of Arts (Sociology) degree from the University Witwatersrand, a Master of Science (Comparative Social Policy) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Social Policy from the University of Oxford, England.
Professor Monde Makiwane
Professor Makiwane holds a PhD in Demography, a Masters in Social Science (Demography), a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Population Studies) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics. Professor Makiwane held the position of Research Director and Chief Research Specialist at the Human Science Research Country (South Africa) and was responsible for conducting research and report writing which include academic theme leadership, project management, human resources, planning, selection, recruitment and training staff. At the National Research Foundation he was Project Leader responsible for acquiring and archiving data sets and report writing. Professor Makiwane was a Lecturer in Sociology (specialising in demography and statistics) at Walter Sisulu University. He worked as Chief Professional Officer for the Central Statistical Office in charge of collecting and analyzing large data sets.
Mr Edwin Lekota
The astute Corporate Manager with more than 20 years’ experience at all management levels. This highly analytical and performance-driven senior-level professional, is also a visionary possessing an entrepreneurial flair and comprehensive experience in various management functions namely: Transformation & Turnaround Strategies, Business Rescue, New Product Development, Business Development, Customer Relations, including Total Quality Management, Operational Safety, Supply Chain Management, Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Relations / Management, Corporate Governance; Strategic Management; Operations Management; Contracts Management; Service Level Agreements Management, Change Management; Human Resources Management; Labour Relations; Risk Analysis & Management, Financial Management, Information-Communications & Technology, Trend, Quantitative & Qualitative Analysis. He also has experience that spans over the period of over a further 18 years in the Built Environment (Engineering, Construction, Property, Project Management, Quantity Surveying (Cost Management), and in broad general Infrastructure Management & Development. He is also strong in Transport Operations / Management and the related infrastructure (rail in particular), including the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) approaches, Claims Management, Science and Technology in the Built Environment, Construction Management, Negotiations and Dispute Resolutions. He is skilled in computers and is technology driven. He is having the extensive theoretical, practical exposure and passion in the Research Field.
Professor Thulani Zengele

Thulani Zengele was born in Clermont, Durban, and has been in education for the past 42 yrs as a teacher, HOD and school principal in Clermont, Soweto and as an academic at the University of South Africa. In 2002 he joined TSA which later became Unisa after the merger as a lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor and eventually Full Professor in 2015 in the Department of Educational Leadership and Management.He has been the Head of Quality Assurance and Enhancement in the College of Education. He is presently the Director and Head of the Curriculum Transformation Unit at Unisa which is a special project that is funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training. The Unit is responsible for transformation in the way academics plan and deliver learning content to students. The Unit has also designed and implemented the Online Curriculum Transformation course for academics and students for the first time in South Africa. He has published research articles in accredited international journals, book chapters, and successfully supervised more than 20 masters and doctoral candidates. He has also presented several research workshops in South Africa and Ethiopia, especially on research proposal writing, academic writing skills, theoretical and conceptual frameworks. He has also facilitated workshops in Project Management and Strategic Planning. He also became part of the project planning team for the Entsika Consulting Services (Pty) Ltd and was instrumental in the award of a tender by the Department of Basic Education for research project preparation. He was appointed as the internal moderator for the Mathew Goniwe School of leadership in preparation for the Occupational Certificate for School Principals: a Department of Basic Education Project.

Professor Zengele has presented conference papers at several national and international conferences in Africa, the USA, Europe and Asia totalling 31 countries and cities around the world.

He holds the BA, PGDE (Vista), B.Ed. (Wits), M.Ed. (UJ), D.Ed. (Unisa) and the Advanced Short Course in OBE Assessment in Higher Education and Open Distance Learning (Unisa). He is an avid chess and squash player.
